Christopher: Checking out the new Meditazione?
Anthony: Tasting and enjoying the new Med.
Christopher: Alright so that’s the 2015 Meditazione we’re going to release to the Wine Club here in June, correct?
Anthony: Indeed it is.
Christopher: And uh, what do we got in there?
Anthony: We got a blend: Sauv Blanc, Pinot Grigio, and the Tocai Friulano
Christopher: Look at that color, can we see that color?
Christopher: Oh man! It’s like electric orange!
Christopher: What do you think, you know what this wine reminds of like George Clinton you know, or Bootsy Collins like it’s just got all that funky
Anthony: Funkadelic
Christopher: Psychedelic, Funkadelic, but it’s clean and fresh and beautiful, right? This is your first time tasting it?
Anthony: It is indeed - ahh smooth.
Christopher: Yeah it’s got great texture, sweet aroma but savory profile, awesome, great to eat with what, like nuts?
Anthony: Nuts, grains
Christopher: Seeds, grains
Anthony: Fatty fish
Christopher: Ooh, smoked blue fish, I made some, that would be great with this
Anthony: Smoked blue would work well
Christopher: Pork belly
Anthony: Aged cheeses
Oh man like hard aged goudas and stuff like that
Anthony: Phenomenal
Christopher: Oh man and this wine ages super well so it’s delicious now but what another 5 years in the cellar don’t you think?
Anthony: Easily, easily 5 or 10 years in the cellar would work well
Christopher: Come on, I want some more of that, can you pour me some
Anthony: Surely can
Christopher: I need some
[Anthony laughs]
Christopher: I need some of that!
