In 1982, Walter Channing planted the first Chardonnay vines. The rest is history.
Born of a spirit of creativity and a deep reverence for the East End, Channing Daughters began as an experiment. Four decades on, this small, family-owned business — which was named after Walter’s four daughters — has grown into one of Long Island’s most celebrated wineries. Working with more than two dozen grape varieties, we produce a remarkably diverse (and delicious!) portfolio of wines that reflect the singular terroir of our beautiful little corner of the world. Grown sustainably, picked by hand, and crafted in small batches, our wines are celebrated locally, nationally and internationally.
