Anthony was born and raised in Chelsea, NYC. His grandfather made wine in the basement of the family brownstone in which he grew up, so was able to experience the winedrinking culture throughout his youth. His early career path led him to the floor of the NYMEX Exchange where he traded energy futures for twenty plus years. During that time he was able to dine out with clients and experience a breadth of wines in the NYC restaurant scene. Concurrently, he also worked at the famous White Horse Tavern in Manhattan as the Thursday/Friday/Saturday night bartender for 10-plus years.
Anthony built a home in East Hampton in 1998, and in 2007 he moved here full time with his wife Yvie and daughter Frederique. He joined the Channing Daughters team in the spring of 2011. You can find Anthony in the tasting room Wednesdays through Sundays, as well as delivering wine, helping around the winery when needed, and trying almost anything else he can. Anthony loves interacting with our club members, customers and curious wine drinkers every day, as well as constantly learning more about the winemaking process.
